Getting Bigger!

Little A.J. is growing fast! He's got to be over two feet long now and very near 14 lbs! We took a trip to Woodward Park and to the pumpkin patch in Berryhill over the weekend, and still managed to listen to the Huskers beat Baylor on Saturday. Speaking of the Huskers, it should be an interesting week here in Tulsa as A.J. and myself are a little outnumbered here as Husker fans! Some people here actually think he's a Sooner!

Here's a few pictures from the last couple of weeks, but mostly from yesterday. Bye for now and Go Big Red!!

October 11th is my 2 month Birthday!!

It's been a heck of few days for the boy! On Thursday, Aidan weighed in at just over 12 lbs., and got another round of immunizations (he doesn't like shots!).

Today is his 2 month birthday, and Grandma Tammy is here as we are watching the Huskers and grilling steaks. (There's a minute and a half left and the Huskers are driving - I shouldn't try to do this during the game - Touchdown Huskers!! tie game with no time to do it!!)

Anyway, the lad is good. Here's a few pictures from the last few days.

Facial Expressions

Stacy got some really cute pictures of Aidan at his best so I thought I ought to get them posted ASAP! He recovered from this past weekends ruthless beating of the Cubs and Huskers a lot better than daddy did!

Need Some Game 2 Karma!

The boy and I decided that we needed to pull out all the stops for The Cubs tonight, so we got our gear on, and are getting ready for the game!

The biggest news is that Aidan is getting oh so close to figuring out how to roll over. He just needs to figure out what to do with that arm. We all get to spend a lot more time together as he doesn't immediately go sleep after eating. Our lad also has a lot more facial expressions and lots of smiles.

I want to thank my Mom for the cool Cubs set, I think Stacy has already decided the blanket is going to be framed and put up on the wall.
Also, thanks to my Dad and Nikki for the wonderful gift we received this week. They got Aidan a really cute Huskers hooded sweatshirt, and a sippy cup to match with a little snack holder on the bottom. The inclosed gift card was used for Aidan's baby book, as we didn't have one yet.

Oh yeah, it's only a couple of short days until his two month birthday!

First Month Birthday!

Yes, my son turned one month today! The best part of it was that when I came home from work he was wide awake and when I took him he just stared at daddy, smiled a few times, and was content. Of course I went to the store and bought a couple of 1st month presents. I wanted to get a little cake and let him paw at it, but Stacy talked sense into me and we skipped that!

So, I bought him a little pair of sunglasses and the first aid/grooming kit we wanted. So, here are the 1 month pics, enjoy!

Holding Up His Head A Lot!

It's been an eventful few days since our last post. Aidan had another doctor's appt., we weathered the remnants of "Gustov", and we celebrated Labor Day with Grandpa Chuck. But, the big news is that Aidan holds his head up all the time now! It doesn't matter if he's on his back or his belly, this kid likes to try to look around!

First of all, the doctor's appointment went great, as everything is going wonderful and Aidan is up to 8 lbs. 13 oz. Grandma Tammy has been very helpful by taking Stacy and Aidan yet again while I was at work.

Gustov didn't do much here in Tulsa, save rain me out of one day of work. Off to the east and southeast, there was 4-6 inches of rain, if not more, and flooding. Here we got a little windy and had a day of rain and drizzle. The upside to the whole deal though is that the weather is beautiful now!

Labor Day was relaxing. Chuck grilled deer burgers, hot links, jalepeno sausage, and chicken breast. For once I had a hand in the grilling, and like a good Husker should, I made grilled corn on the cob in the husk. The best part is, it seemed to go over pretty darn well!

Enjoy the few pics and know that we'll have more to follow!
